Students hit by a car near Walteria Elementary!
Yesterday morning, near Walteria Elementary, two students were hit by a car while on their way to school. All of us at Victor wish the best for these two children as they recover from this unfortunate incident.
Please let this event be a keen reminder that the safety of our students is our number one priority. Please abide by the following protocols and LAWS when dropping off and picking up your children at school...

1) When picking up or dropping off your child please use our Valet Service. This is for the safety of all Victor Students!
2) Please do not park in red zones as it impedes with this process. TPD has been ticketing and will continue to ticket for the remainder of the year.
3) During Valet Hours (8:30 - 9:00 and 3:00 - 3:30) please do not turn left into the parking lot as this is rude and inconsiderate to those families waiting in line to use our valet.
The Torrance Unified School District adopted a Wellness Policy in accordance with the requirements of the California Department of Education. The Distric is committed to providing school environments that promote and protect children's health, well-being, and ability to learn by supporting healthy eating and physical activity under a Coordinated School Health Program.
If families wish to bring treats in for birthdays they must make arrangements with the teachers and the treats must comply with the healthy food standards. Treats will be served after lunchtime.
