Q: What is Scrip?
Answer: Scrip = substitute money Example: gift cards
Q: How does scrip earn money for our school?
Answer: Victor PTA buys the gift cards at a discount and sells
them at face value.
Q: How much money does the scrip program earn & what are proceeds used for?
Answer: Last year we made $25,000!
Of that, we gave 20% back to the participating
classrooms in rebates, which was about $5,000.
The other 80% funds Victor PTA programs, such as:
Adventures in Art, Victor's Library, Family Math,
Fieldtrips, Science Fair, Reflections, PTA Newsletter
and Handbook/Directory.

Answer: Two ways -
1. Stop by the Scrip Table to make a purchase (see
